Happy Friday! Hope you have a glamorous weekend!

Earlier this week, while waiting on furniture deliveries out in the suburbs, I decided to kill some time and headed over to Home Goods….
Oh my was it a treat! These are some of the items I fell in love with. And just for fun, I created two imaginary room makeovers for my finds. Each accessory assortment is less than $250, which clearly shows, you don’t have to spend a lot to make your space fabulous!
A great piece of artwork, pair of lamps, some pillows and perhaps a rug, can completely transform a space.
I hope I’ve inspired you and that your off to your nearest Home Goods. Happy decorating!

Dramatic details are often exactly what a room needs to bring it to life and give it some sizzle!
Right now, I’m crazy over zig zag chevron prints! They’re bold, gutsy and add just the right amount of drama for a space looking a little drab.

Project peek: Billiard room barstools, tufting and tweed make a fab combo (Taken with instagram)
I’m just back from a consultation and thought to share some tips and inspiration on a topic that tends to stump lots of people, art hanging.
No need to be overwhelmed or intimidated by laying out art. All you need is a solid plan.
Start by selecting the pieces you love and are meaningful to you. Pick a wall you’d like to display them on and then decide on a hanging style i.e., symmetrical or asymmetrical.
Use these inspiration images as a guide and have fun! There’s no right or wrong way and remember to think of your walls as a rotating gallery. Just because it’s hung on a wall, doesn’t mean it has to stay there forever.
